About the Opportunity
A growing organization in the Greater Baltimore area is creating a brand-new Accounting & Finance Systems Manager role to modernize its accounting and finance systems environment.
 
This position sits within the accounting and finance organization and will partner closely with senior leadership to drive improvements across financial systems, reporting, data workflows, and automation.
 
The company recently implemented a new ERP platform and is now looking for a hands-on professional who can help maximize its capabilities while evaluating future tools for consolidation, reporting, and analytics.
 
This is a high-impact role with significant visibility and the opportunity to influence the future finance technology strategy of the organization.
 
What You'll Do

• Serve as the hands-on owner of finance systems and reporting platforms
• Evaluate and help implement consolidation and reporting solutions
• Assess the current ERP environment and recommend improvements or alternatives
• Build financial reporting dashboards and data integrations
• Identify opportunities to automate manual finance processes
• Partner with accounting, IT, and operations teams to improve data flows and reporting accuracy
• Help finance leadership move beyond Excel-heavy processes toward scalable systems solutions

Ideal candidates will bring a mix of accounting, finance systems, and data experience.
 
Examples of relevant backgrounds include:

• Finance systems or ERP implementation experience
• Accounting or finance professionals who specialize in systems and automation
• Finance transformation or business systems professionals supporting accounting teams
• Data analytics professionals who work closely with finance organizations

 
Key Skills

• ERP systems experience (MRI, Yardi, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Financial reporting and accounting process knowledge
• Power BI, reporting platforms, or data visualization tools
• Advanced Excel (Power Query, automation, large datasets)
• Systems implementation or finance transformation projects
