Senior Accountant – $90K–$95K + Bonus – Hybrid (3 Days in Columbia, MD)
  
About the Opportunity:
A growing company in the Columbia, MD area is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their collaborative Finance team. This is a key role supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and forecasting for one of their fastest-growing business units. You’ll gain exposure to both corporate and operational accounting, with opportunities to build on your revenue and analytical experience.
  
What You’ll Do:

• Own parts of the monthly financial close – journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and budget vs. actual reports.
• Manage cash activity, invoicing, and collections of accounts receivable.
• Partner with business leaders to provide insight into results and variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Continuously improve accounting processes and system efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Staff or Senior Accountant (public or private).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close.
• Solid Excel skills; experience with Workday or Salesforce is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

The Details:

• Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office (Tuesday–Thursday) in Columbia, MD
• Compensation: $90K–$95K base + Bonus
