Property Accountant (Washington, DC | Hybrid)
  
A rapidly growing real estate investment and management company is seeking a Property Accountant to join its high-caliber team. This individual will be the third hire in accounting and report directly to the Accounting Manager, with strong exposure to the Controller and senior leadership.
  
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated accounting professional with property accounting experience who wants to make an impact in a high-growth environment.
  
What you’ll do:

• Process AP/AR, tenant billing, and monthly reconciliations through Yardi.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
• Partner with Asset Management on budgets, forecasts, and CapEx tracking.
• Assist with onboarding new acquisitions and audits.
• Provide insight into process improvements and internal controls.

  
What we’re looking for:

• 2–5 years of accounting/finance experience, ideally in commercial real estate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Property accounting experience required.
• Yardi (or similar software) strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and understanding of GAAP.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

  
Compensation:

• Base salary: $95K–$105K + 10–15% bonus
• Excellent benefits package, including free healthcare

  
  
Schedule:

• Hybrid: 2 days/week in the Washington, DC office (Monday & Thursday ideal)
• Flexibility considered for exceptional candidates outside the area
