Analyst – Capital Advisory Group

A growing financial advisory firm is seeking an Analyst to join its Capital Advisory Group, which specializes in raising debt and equity capital for clients. This is a great opportunity for an early-career finance professional to gain hands-on experience working with operating companies, private equity firms, and institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of capital raising, including financial modeling, company financial analysis, and preparation of pitch materials.
• Conduct market research and develop investor lists to support deal execution.
• Coordinate meetings and communications between clients, investors, and internal teams.
• Draft presentations and offering materials with a focus on clear and compelling messaging.
• Support senior team members in structuring transactions and evaluating financing options.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, debt capital markets, structured finance, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent writing and communication abilities (a key priority for the hiring team).
• Ability to interface with senior executives, investors, and business owners.
• Background in finance, economics, or a related field; liberal arts backgrounds with strong finance acumen will also be considered.
• Experience with debt capital markets or structured finance is a plus.
• Based in, or strong ties to, the Baltimore area preferred.
