Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer specializing in Land Development to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing civil engineering projects from concept through construction. Projects include commercial, industrial, residential, institutional, and mixed-use developments.

This position requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, architects, surveyors, and regulatory agencies.

Essential Functions:
- Prepare civil engineering designs for land development projects, including:
o Site grading
o Stormwater management
o Utility design (water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer)
o Roadway and parking lot design
o Erosion and sediment control plans
- Develop construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, landscape architects, and surveyors.
- Prepare permit applications and respond to agency review comments.
- Attend meetings with clients, municipalities, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct site visits during design and construction phases.
- Assist with preparation of engineering cost estimates and project budgets.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting schedules and budget requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and CAD designers.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within two years.
- 4-10 years of experience in land development engineering.
- Proficiency with:
o AutoCAD Civil 3D
o Stormwater modeling software (Hydraflow, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, or similar)
