BRC are working closely with a well-established organisation to recruit a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join their property maintenance team.
This role involves carrying out a variety of repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works across residential properties, ensuring homes are brought up to the required standard and ready for new occupants. The position will cover a number of locations across Berkshire and the surrounding areas.
This role involves
A practical, hands-on role suited to someone with a broad range of maintenance skills who can work independently, manage their workload and deliver high-quality results across a variety of properties.
Duties:
- Undertake general repairs, maintenance and improvement works across residential properties.
- Complete a range of carpentry, plumbing and other multi-trade tasks.
- Assess property conditions, identify outstanding work and carry out necessary repairs.
- Carry out external maintenance, including fencing, communal areas, gardens and surrounding grounds.
- Organise and prioritise daily tasks to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Liaise with colleagues and other trades to coordinate repairs and ensure properties are completed within required timescales.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, ensuring properties are clean, safe and ready for occupation.
Requirements: - Previous experience in a multi-trade, property maintenance or refurbishment role.
- Practical knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and general repairs.
- Ability to work independently and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- A strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- A reliable, proactive approach with a commitment to quality workmanship.
