Junior Project Manager
Fulltime – Rolling contract
£28,792.70 - £32,268 (Pro Rata)
Cardiff

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary, ongoing on a monthly basis

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to oversee supported living services in Cardiff, supporting service users to develop their independence and achieve positive outcomes.

You will lead a small team of Support Workers and night staff, ensuring the services are safe, well managed and provide high-quality, person-centred support.

This role would suit an experienced Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Deputy Manager or Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running supported living services.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Support Workers and night staff.
• Ensure service users receive safe, consistent and person-centred support.
• Oversee support plans, risk assessments, safeguarding and case management.
• Support staff through supervision, team meetings and day-to-day guidance.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns, incidents and challenging situations.
• Work closely with social services and other external agencies.
• Ensure records and documentation are completed to a high standard.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for young people.
• Monitor the quality and safety of the accommodation.

About You

• Previous experience in supported living, supported accommodation, housing, homelessness or social care.
• Previous experience supervising or managing staff.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and risk management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A person-centred and trauma-informed approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage challenging situations.
• Enhanced DBS
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be preferred but is not essential.
