Service Lead – Young People
LOCATION: Hybrid/Office Based (with travel across services)
SALARY: £60k-£66k
DURATION: Temporary contract with scope to go permanent
HOURS: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
As Service Lead – Young People, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and developing high-quality supported housing services for young people across multiple locations, in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. Combining strategic leadership with operational excellence, you'll drive service improvement, deliver positive outcomes for customers, and ensure services are safe, effective and fully compliant with regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards where applicable.
You'll use data, customer insight and performance information to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, enhance service quality, and maximise value for money. Working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners, you'll help create consistent, customer-focused services that reflect best practice and respond to the changing needs of young people.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire teams delivering high-quality supported housing services for young people across multiple locations.
- Drive continuous improvement by using data, customer feedback and performance insights to enhance services.
- Ensure services are safe, compliant and meet safeguarding, contractual and regulatory standards, including Ofsted where applicable.
- Build strong partnerships with local authorities, commissioners and external agencies.
- Manage budgets, operational performance and service development to deliver excellent outcomes and value for money.
- Lead on tender opportunities and contribute to the growth of supported housing services.
- Champion a positive, customer-focused culture while developing and supporting high-performing teams.
- Represent the organisation externally and participate in the management on-call rota.
About you: - Significant experience working with young people within supported housing or a similar environment.
- Experience leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of supported housing, tenancy management and safeguarding.
- Experience managing services across multiple locations.
- A track record of driving service improvement and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts and operational performance.
- Excellent relationship-building and partnership working skills.
- The ability to analyse data and use insight to improve services.
- Strong organisational, project management and communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
