Job:                  Customer Services Advisor  (Part Time)
Location:         Monmouthshire
Duration:        Temporary contract till 24th December 2025
Hours:             29.6 per week (Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri) - hybrid working
Rate:               £27,556-£29,006.31 / hourly rate options  
  
BRC are working closely with a well-established housing association who are looking for a Customer Services Advisor who is available immediately and is passionate about delivering top-tier support within a high performing team.  

Duties:  

• You will be the first point of contact handling enquires via phone, email, and live chat with speed, care and professionalism
• You will respond to queries in an effective and timely manner
• Support the Customer Services Manager in promoting high performance culture with a strong emphasis on continuous service improvement
• You will be responsible for accurately logging and processing customer requests related to repairs, anti-social behaviour, neighbour disputes always ensuring all actions follow established procedures
• You will closely collaborate with the Income Recovery team to help reduce rental income loss by encouraging a culture of timely payments

 
Requirements:

• Good level of literacy and numeracy, educated to GCSE grade C or higher
• The ability to use Microsoft Office packages and able to pick up new systems quickly
• At least 2 years’ experience of working in a customer facing role
• Good verbal and written communication
• Be able to maintain a professional and calm manner under pressure
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Be available immediately
• Be able to commute to the office at least 1-2 days a week
