We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Children & Young Person's Support Worker to join our Domestic Violence Service, providing trauma-informed support to those affected by domestic abuse.

This is an opportunity to make a lasting difference - helping children and young people to rebuild confidence, heal from trauma, and look towards a safer, brighter future.
  
As a CYP Support Worker, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and group support to children and young people who have experienced or witnessed domestic abuse.
• Deliver age-appropriate interventions that promote emotional wellbeing, safety, and resilience.
• Support children in understanding healthy relationships and managing difficult emotions.
• Work closely with parents, carers, schools, and partner agencies to ensure a joined-up, holistic approach.
• Contribute to safety planning, risk assessments, and case management in line with safeguarding procedures.
• Empower children and families to rebuild stability and strengthen relationships.

  
What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children, young people, or families in a support, education, or safeguarding role.
• An understanding of the impact of domestic abuse and trauma on children and family dynamics.
• Excellent communication, listening, and engagement skills.
• A compassionate, patient, and non-judgemental approach.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-agency team.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
