Our client in ACT seeks the services of DSS L2 Commercial Contracting Support Officer with NV1 clearance.

Deliverables / Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and analyse contracts and financial information supplied by vendors and suppliers in response to the project's activities.
Verification and compliance of requirements, format standards and registration conditions detailed in the documentation
Support commercial contracting manager to provide strategic commercial advice, to the project.
Assist in preparing, reviewing and managing scopes of work.
Develop contractual documentation policy and practices, keeping to timeframes ensuring project milestones can be met.
Assist with procurement planning, tendering and contract formation, contract management, and drafting correspondence ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and procedures
Assist with timely and accurate advice and services for procurement policy, technical, commercial, legal, financial investigation and other requirements to support contract management outcomes
Application of legislative and policy compliance obligations related to procurement and contract management
Experience/Skills Sought
Strong business acumen and sound commercial judgement
A thorough understanding of different procurement methods and evaluation protocols
Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
