Deliverables / Key Responsibilities

• Formal qualifications in Information Security, Cyber Security, Information Technology or a  related discipline.
• Experience supporting system security accreditation, assessment and authorisation activities, including the maintenance of security documentation and risk assessments.
• Experience providing cyber security advice and support to business, operational and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical, governance and administrative documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management skills.
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare documentation in accordance with writing standards.
• Strong verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple organisational levels.
• Ability to work independently under broad direction, managing competing priorities to achieve required outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and practical solutions to complex cyber security challenges.

Experience/Skills Sought:

• Experience supporting Defence aviation capabilities or operating within an aviation-related environment.
• Experience maintaining awareness of emerging changes to Defence and Commonwealth cyber security policies and implementing practical security improvements.
• Knowledge of contemporary mobile security architectures, endpoint management and secure mobility solutions within Defence or Government environments
• Forecast, plan and manage a range of human and physical resources.
• Highly motivated, proactive and outcome focused.
• Collaborative and relationship-driven approach to stakeholder engagement.
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgement in high-pressure or complex operational environments.
• Commitment to continual learning and remaining current with emerging cyber security threats, technologies and regulatory requirements.
