Deliverables / Key Responsibilities

• Server Management: Setting up and maintaining physical and virtual servers.
• Security & Access: Controlling user privileges, managing firewalls, and applying software patches.
• System Monitoring: Tracking network performance and server health.
• User Support: Acting as an escalation point for complex technical problems

Experience/Skills Sought:

• Extensive experience with computer hardware, software and network design, implementation, configuration and troubleshooting methods and procedures including skill in developing plans and schedules, estimating resource requirements.
• Skill in effectively communicating, orally and in writing, highly technical and nontechnical issues with system users, system administrators, system analysts, software engineers, database administrators, software testers, and management and program office personnel.
• Knowledge of relational databases and its uses in analysing reports of software application and data problems within large relational databases.
• Experience supporting a wide range of Information Assurance, to include commercial cybersecurity product, computer security, and computer network design, implementation, and maintenance to carry out assignments, and support operations of cyber system IT architecture.
• Knowledge of and skill in applying principles and methods for integrating information system components, performance tuning tools and techniques, and systems diagnostic tools and fault identification techniques.
• Proven ability to apply knowledge and skill to install and maintain software and hardware, prepare current versions and future releases of applications software for deployment, document the physical configuration of an information system, optimise the functionality of networks and systems and diagnose and recover failed systems.
