Our client in ACT seeks the services of DSS L2 ILS Officer with NV1 clearance.

Deliverables / Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will, on behalf of the Project Manager, be responsible for:
Sharing information, monitoring work practices, setting work priorities and developing local procedures
Planning and managing of logistics
Directing, optimising and coordinating the order cycle
Liaising with suppliers and consumers i.e. the project and Commonwealth of Australia
Supply chain coordination and organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods
Provide technical ILS advice for the development of project plans and procedures.
Provide logistics support to the planning and design of the Support
System Constituent Capabilities related to the acquisition.
Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at the strategic and operational level.
Logistics Governance & Assurance; Follow and implement Defence policy, processes & procedures, while ensuring record keeping standards are met.
Experience/Skills Sought:
Experience in a Defence project would be beneficial
Understanding of Military Command and Control technologies such as Tactical Data Links would be beneficial
The ability to strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
Experience of working in a multi-functional integrated project team is highly desirable
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
Qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
