Our client in ACT seeks the services of DSS L4 Software Engineer with TSPV clearance.

Length of Contract: 12 with 2 x 12 months extension possibility

Deliverables / Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications, systems and components using approved programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
Analyse business and technical requirements to develop effective, efficient software solutions.
Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Work with project managers, product owners, business analysts, senior customers and other engineers on the design and to plan, estimate and deliver software solutions.
Maintain and enhance existing software by identifying areas for improvement, refactoring code, and resolving defects.
Ensure applications meet security, performance, and scalability requirements.
Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely fixes and root‑cause analysis.
Ensure solutions developed are in line with project architecture guidance, Defence policy and the Information Security Manual guidance Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to systems, code, and development processes.

Experience/Skills Sought:
Ability to work in a high security environment with sensitivity reticence and discretion.
The role is based in Canberra with minimal travel, if any.
