Deliverables / Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering advice and assurance on system design, integration, and verification activities across all relevant contracts.
• Develop, review, and endorse complex engineering documentation, including system specifications, design packages, and technical risk registers.
• Identify, assess, and manage technical risks and uncertainties, implementing mitigation strategies and influencing project decision-making.
• All other tasks as directed.
• Act prudently, ethically and lawfully.
• Communicate effectively with line managers and Division Head, including consultation with them and taking appropriate direction from them.
• Employ best practice in the execution of work, focusing on achieving outcomes, ensuring that decisions are made by appropriately qualified and experienced persons, and taking judicious risks.
• Provide clarity on roles & responsibilities.
• Encourage transparency and truthfulness.
• Encourage collaboration and communication.

Experience/Skills Sought:

• Chartered Professional Engineer (or equivalent) or ability to attain chartered status.
• Tertiary qualifications in Communications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex engineering activities and influence technical outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience in technical leadership roles.
