Our client in Canberra seeks the services of DSS L2 ILS Officer with NV1 clearance.

Deliverables / Key Responsibilities:
Assist with tender evaluation processes, including reviewing submissions and assessing compliance with ILS requirements for future work packages.
Prepare and maintain ILS documentation, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
Provide ILS input to procurement contract deliverables.
Assist in the identification and tracking of ILS risks, contributing to mitigation strategies.
Support the development and implementation of sustainment strategies (capability support system) inclusive of the five constituent capabilities: Operation, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply and Training.
Conduct data collection, analysis, and reporting to support ILS decision-making.
Draft ILS documents required for each stage of the One Defence Capability System.
Participate in ILS planning workshops and contribute to project reviews.
Support the preparation of briefing materials and status updates for project leadership.
Other tasks as directed by the ILS Manager.
Experience/Skills Sought:
Assist in implementing processes and procedures to support the acquisition and transition into service of equipment in accordance with Defence requirements.
Review and advise on materiel logistics performance within an acquisition project.
Understand and apply organisational processes and procedures in the development of Integrated Logistics Support Analyses and Plans.
Liaise and maintain productive relationships with internal and external materiel logistics stakeholders.
Communicate materiel logistics requirements through detailed written documents and oral presentations for higher delegate consideration.
Adapt and adjust materiel logistics activities to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Understanding of the Fundamental Inputs to Capability, specifically related to Army and Land worthiness.
Experience in conducting activities pertaining to elements of Integrated Logistic Support.
Project experience in the Land Domain Practical knowledge and experience in identifying, applying and monitoring supply support/inventory management activities in an acquisition project. Other requirements:
The Contractor shall have a mature professional approach to tasking and possess an outcome focused attitude toward the tasking.
The Contractor must submit proof of valid security clearance for the nominated personnel.
The Contractor shall have experience in writing documentation conforming to Defence writing standards.
The Contractor shall have the ability to communicate with a range of engineering, contracting and technical stakeholders.
The Contractor shall have a high level of competence and experience in using Microsoft Office applications.
