Requirements of the Role:
Tasks include, but may not be limited to:

• Supporting the Planning and Execution of the project Engineering Program
• Participating in engineering engagement with Industry as part of a holistic contract management approach
• Conducting requirements and specification development
• Liaising with internal and external project stakeholders
• Participating in Industry lead Sprint Planning, SCRUMs and/or other Agile like fora
• Developing engineering advice to Project Leadership on the Engineering Program
• Development of briefings and other formal correspondence to project/program leadership
• Review for acceptance of contract deliverables
• Supporting or executing whole of system level certification activities
• Providing mentoring to junior engineers
  

Essential Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering (or Engineers Australia recognised equivalent)
• AQF Level 6 equivalent or above software development qualifications

Highly Desirable:

• Formal qualifications in Communications, or other technology specifically relevant to tactical data links
• Postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant field

Additional Criteria:

• DSS - 2.3 Systems and Software Engineering - Software Engineering - L3
• SFIA Skill Code - Systems and software lifecycle engineering SLEN - L4
