Responsibilities:
The Transition Manager Responsibilities include:

• Conduct cyber and information security risk assessments, business impact analysis, and control evaluations for systems and services.
• Develop, review, and advise on security standards, guidance, accreditation documentation, and program‑specific security frameworks.
• Lead incident response and investigation activities in accordance with Defence procedures, recommending corrective actions and policy amendments.
• Support accreditation activities, including coordination with primes and
  other key stakeholders.
• Integrate cyber threat analysis and all‑source intelligence insights into risk management and accreditation activities.
• Communicate complex risks and security considerations to SHFC program leadership, wider team, and stakeholders to inform decisions and program outcomes.
• Monitor the performance of the mission system during and after the transition, identifying and addressing any performance gaps or issues.
• Build and sustain collaborative working relationships across with key stakeholders, and industry partners to ensure alignment of security, capability, and sustainment objectives.

Essential Criteria:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Security, Computer
  Science/Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform independent, high‑level security work involving complex analysis, problem solving, and judgement.
• Demonstrated experience in cyber security risk assessment, and control evaluation.
• Experience interpreting and applying Defence cyber and information security policy frameworks.
• Experience leading or coordinating incident response activities and investigations.
• Ability to interpret and apply cyber threat intelligence to program risk posture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to
  communicate complex security issues to diverse stakeholders.
• Mandatory Certifications (at least one):
  
  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
  • CISM - Certified Information Security Manager.
  • CRISC - Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control.
  • CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in preparing or assessing accreditation artefacts for Defence systems.
• Experience preparing briefs, policy papers, or Defence security documentation.
