Our client in ACT seeks the services of DSS L2 Logistics Support with NV1 clearance.

Australian Citizens with NV1 Clearance
Length of Contract: 20 months
The role closes on 14th January 2026
Key Responsibilities:
Manage materiel sustainment operations including logistics engineering functions, preparedness, compliance & assurance, and disposal activities.
Provide materiel sustainment advice and technical advice in relation to hardware & software solutions for the allocated system.
Liaise, support & maintain productive relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
Prepare support plans, contracts & associated budgets in accordance with Defence policies & templates.
Manage equipment and the transition of future products from the generating organisation to the in-service phase.
Prepare high level/sensitive written materials & oral presentations.
Review, analyse & report upon materiel logistics performance.
Undertake ad-hoc queries and maintain reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organisational needs to support the business.
Execute day to day processes and perform risk management, data management, record management and data analysis.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks to support the business such as:
Codification and cataloguing of new to service Apple products.
Manage stock codes and Common Equipment Schedules
Perform disposal activities for surplus and obsolete item
Experience Skills Sought:
Be a Chartered Professional Engineer of a registered Professional Engineering Body (such as Engineers Australia) equivalent or be able to attain chartered status.
Tertiary qualifications in Communications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other equivalent experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in leadership and management roles, and an ability to coach and guide teams in the implementation of strategy and change.
