Our client in ACT seeks the services of DSS L3 Technical Officer with NV2 clearance.

Length of Contract: 12 months
The role closes on 6th of February 2026
Duties / Scope of Task: The Service Provider agrees that the following work will be undertaken by the Specified Personnel:
Technical advice to design teams undertaking refit activities.
Site surveys to document maintenance or upgrade requirements for all security infrastructure (including alarms, access control, CCTV, and public screening equipment).
Pre-installation or pre-maintenance activities in Canberra (communications, installation planning, hardware procurement, logistics and freight etc.).
Stakeholder engagement to assist with planning and completion of system installation or maintenance.
Train and support staff to use electronic security systems.
Update site plans, as-builts, technical drawings, and other installation and training documentation.
Work under limited supervision, including planning, prioritising, and organising work for self to achieve deadlines.
Other duties as required by the Director, Branch or associated Project Manager.
Skills, qualifications, and experience Mandatory The Contractor must be able to provide suitably qualified personnel with the skills, abilities, experience, and qualifications including:
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in adverse or high stress environments.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Qualifications
Open Cabling Registration with Fibre and Structured Cabling Endorsement
Working Safely at Heights
Working in Confined Spaces
Asbestos Awareness Certification
First Aid
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites
SFIA Skill Code - Systems and software lifecycle engineering (SLEN) - L4
