• Length of Contract: 6 months
• The role closes on 4th December 2025

Responsibilities:

• Nurturing industry and academia. Innovations will be identified which can be rapidly adapted, tested and acquired for military purposes.
• Shaping and future proofing the innovation ecosystem, through monitoring, investigating, and researching of emerging and disruptive technologies that may provide leap ahead improvements to existing capabilities.
• Technology being acquired if it is proven, has a capability champion, addresses Defence's strategic priorities and is affordable.

Experience/Skills Sought:

• Service Provider personnel delivering the service must be Australian citizen and hold and maintain, for the duration of the contract, a minimum of a current NV1 clearance or above, unless otherwise agreed by the Commonwealth Representative.

Additional Criteria:

• DSS - 2.6 Systems and Software Engineering - System Security - L3
• SFIA Skill Code - Systems and software lifecycle engineering (SLEN) - L4
