Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver branch-level commercial support for SSB's sustainment and
• acquisition activities.
• Respond to commercial enquiries and provide advice on procurement matters.
• Assist with preparation and management of approaches to market.
• Support tender evaluations and assist in contract development.
• Ensure compliance with Defence procurement policy and frameworks.
• Liaise with stakeholders across Defence and industry to support procurement outcomes.

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience in commercial or procurement roles, preferably in a Defence or public sector environment.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence- specific commercial practices.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience supporting Australian Defence Force (ADF) commercial initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with space acquisition or technically complex procurement domains.
