Our client in WA seeks the services of a Commercial Division - Commercial Support - MPB Maritime for DSS L3 position, requiring NV1 clearance.

Skills:
Mandatory: Specified personnel must have demonstrated understanding and/or experience in the conduct of Commonwealth procurement activities, including the drafting of approach to market documentation and supporting a range of activities across the procurement lifecycle, such as planning, drafting, evaluation, negotiation and contract management.
Desirable: A commercial awareness, highly developed interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team, ability to work to tight timeframes and independently (with appropriate supervision) and knowledge of Commonwealth procurement policies are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of commercial strategies, including assist selection of procurement method.
Develop a Probity Plan, including engagement and coordination of a Probity Adviser.
Draft/update commercial elements of Approach to Market documentation, including Conditions of Tender and Conditions of Contract.
Assist with obtaining any necessary approvals for release of Approach to Market documentation.
Contribute to the establishment of tender evaluation organisation by providing suitably skilled and experienced personnel for the tender evaluation organisation.
Provide adhoc commercial advice as required, including in relation to the procurement schedule.
Provide commercial input into any industry briefings or similar engagements with industry either prior to or after release of the Approach to Market documentation.
Provide commercial support to negotiations, and support in the development of negotiation artefacts
Assist with the obtaining any necessary approvals required to execute the agreement.
Provide subject matter procurement policy and commercial advice and support to Contract Management activities.
