Our client in Canberra seeks the services of a Geospatial Systems Directorate-Project Management Services & Support for DSS L3 position, NV2 clearance

ACT Based
Australian Citizen with NV1 clearance
Length of Contract: 12 months with 2 x 12 months extensions
Closing date: 10 pm 6th June 2025
Essential criteria:
Project management knowledge, skills and experience in ICT projects, preferably software projects
Experience working with, and integrating software into, ICT systems and networks
Experience using an Agile methodology in project management
Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).
Desirable criteria:
Systems engineering knowledge and experience in ICT projects, preferably geospatial software projects.
Responsibilities
Supporting the progression of the documentation through Committees and Forums as appropriate
Leading, conducting and documenting stakeholder engagement in support of progression toward Government
Continual review of the Project Plan, schedule and estimation of work/tasks to deliver on a Committee date, and other milestones
Preparing risk management plans and documentation, conducting risk management workshops with stakeholders, identifying and tracking major risks and issues, and developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies; and
Providing specialist project management assistance to Defence executives, managers, staff, and project teams.
