Our client in Canberra seeks the services of an Solution Architect for DSS L3 position, requiring NV2 clearance.

Length of Contract: 12 months | 2 x 12-month extension options

Skills, Experience, Qualifications: Essential:
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Solution Architect.
Minimum 2 year's experience contributing to the successful outcome of ICT projects within a Federal Government environment.
Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team.
Demonstrated experience defining ICT solutions aligned with future-state architecture.
Demonstrated experience delivering detailed designs to a high standard.
Demonstrated experience solving complex problems.
Demonstrated experience working within a high-functioning ICT Team.
Desirable:
Skilled and effective communicator, both spoken and written with the ability to convey complex ideas to wide audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work in a team environment, participate in project meetings and engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
Expertise in system integration, databases and network design.
Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks
Effective planner with efficient time management skills.
Familiarity with SDN, SD-WAN, Firewalls and enterprise networking such as Cisco, Juniper.
Experience with automation and script (Python, Ansible, etc)
Background in agile and waterfall project management methodologies;
Ability to mentor and guide technical staff.
