Skills, Experience, Qualifications:
Essential:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as an infrastructure engineer
2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing hypervisor technologies.
3. Demonstrated experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
4. Demonstrated experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and troubleshooting.
5. Knowledge of scripting for automation (PowerShell, Ansible etc).
6. Demonstrated experience delivering documentation to a high standard.
7. Demonstrated experience solving complex problems.
8. Demonstrated experience working within a high-functioning ICT Team.

Desirable:

1. Experience within Department of Defence managing or operating in a complex environment.
2. Skilled and effective communicator, both spoken and written with the ability to convey complex ideas to wide audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
3. Ability to work in a team environment, participate in project meetings and engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
4. Effective planner with efficient time management skills.
5. Completed relevant qualifications – VMWare, Cisco, Microsoft, RHCSA etc.

• DSS Skill - 2.2 Systems and Software Engineering - Systems Architecture / Integration - L2
• SFIA - Solution Architecture (ARCH) - L3
