• Australian Citizen with NV1 clearance
• Length of Contract: 12 months and extension up to 2 x 12 months
• Closing date: 10 am 23rd May 2025

Deliverables:

• Provide leadership on, mentoring and independent reviews of Test & Evaluation practices

Qualifications and Experience:

•  Bachelor's degree (4 years or higher postgraduate) in Software Engineering suitable to achieve membership of the Institution of Engineers

            OR

• Bachelor's degree (3 years or higher postgraduate) in IT (Software) suitable to achieve technologist in the Institution of Engineers
• Preferably Chartered Professional Engineer or Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
• Extensive (greater than 10 years) experience in Software, preferably in the Defence Sector or Defence Industry.
• Extensive experience with design, build and test functions, Networks and associated Software is essential
• Experience in maintaining and operating engineering design and systems competence and operations
• Demonstrated evidence of working within, and leading, multi-discipline teams
• Experience with the use of Defence standards and processes.

• DSS Skill - 2.4 Systems and Software Engineering - Testing and Evaluation (including verification and validation) - L3
• SFIA - Functional Testing - L5
