Our client in Canberra seeks the services of a Sub-Program Engineering Manager for DSS L3 position, requiring NV1 clearance.

Length of Contract: 12 months with possible extensions up to 2 x 12 months
Qualifications and Experience
It is a REQUIREMENT that the candidate has a minimum of 8 years Industry experience in Engineering Management in order to meet the Level 3 DSS panel requirements.
Master of Systems Engineering with tertiary qualifications and/or significant professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
Tertiary qualifications and significant experience (min 8 years) with engineering management, preferably within the digital integration or information communications technology domains and be aware of current and emerging Defence Digital Systems technology.
Experience as an Engineering Manager.
Experience in providing advice to senior technical and executive staff on technical, design, and risk management items.
Experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams of <25 people including employees and sub-contractor personnel, over disparate locations.
Experience in safety critical software or systems development processes and practices.
Experience in preparing high quality written reports and presentations relating to engineering activities, including monthly status reports for program boards.
Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering.
