Our client in Canberra seeks the services of a FinOps Analyst for DSS L3 position, requiring NV1 clearance.
 
Overview
 
A FinOps Analyst will manage AWS financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work with cross functional teams to align AWS usage with business objectives and financial goals.
 
Skills / Experience

• Proven experience in managing AWS financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Strong skills in cloud cost management, monitoring, reporting, and optimization. Ability to investigate, identify, and resolve/recommend cost activities using FinOps practices and processes.
• Ability to generate and analyze financial reports within AWS to provide insights and recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Experience working with cross functional teams, including but not limited to engineering, operations, and finance teams to align AWS usage with business objectives and financial goals.
