Qualifications and Experience

• It is a REQUIREMENT that the Design Modelling Engineering Manager has a minimum of 8 years Industry experience in Project Management in order to meet the Level 3 DSS panel requirements. 
• Master of Systems Engineering with tertiary qualifications and/or significant professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Experience in providing strategic, high-level advice to senior technical and executive staff on technical, design, and risk management items.
• Experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams of >25 people including employees and sub-contractor personnel, over disparate locations.
• Experience in safety critical software or systems development processes and practices.
• Experience in preparing high quality written reports and presentations relating to the program activities, including monthly status reports for program boards.
