Our client in Canberra seeks the services of DSS L3 Commercial Advisor with NV1 clearance.

Length of Contract: 2 months
Closing date: 2nd April 2025
Skills and Experience:
Significant experience in materiel procurement and/or contract management.
Experience identifying and managing commercial risks related to procurement and contract management.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Experience managing stakeholder relationships.
The ability to work in a team and independently and work to a tight deadline.
Good up to date knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Related degree or formal procurement contracting qualifications.
Roles:
Leading procurement activities/approaches to market.
Coordinating project representation at key contract meetings.
Identifying and managing commercial risks.
Briefing and reporting on contracts.
Participating in contract workshops and forums as required.
Assuring compliance with contract requirements and Defence procurement policy.
Supporting negotiations with industry partners.
Liaising with internal and external project stakeholders.
Providing accurate and timely commercial advice and guidance to delegates and stakeholders.
