Skills and Experience:

• Significant experience in materiel procurement and/or contract management.
• Experience identifying and managing commercial risks related to procurement and contract management.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships.
• The ability to work in a team and independently and work to a tight deadline.
• Good up to date knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Related degree or formal procurement contracting qualifications.

Roles:

• Leading procurement activities/approaches to market.
• Coordinating project representation at key contract meetings.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks.
• Briefing and reporting on contracts.
• Participating in contract workshops and forums as required.
• Assuring compliance with contract requirements and Defence procurement policy.
• Supporting negotiations with industry partners.
• Liaising with internal and external project stakeholders.
• Providing accurate and timely commercial advice and guidance to delegates and stakeholders.
