Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role with a strong understanding of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Experience with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and software tools for monitoring and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement network infrastructure solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security based on specified needs and requirements.
Analyse current network performance, availability, and reliability, using monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to restore and maintain service continuity.
Review hardware and software products and provide recommendations based on best practice.
Work closely with other IT teams to integrate network services with other systems and technologies.
Propose improvements and optimisations for network design and performance.
Provide support and training to other IT staff as needed.
Develop and sustain effective working relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
