The Company

Our client is a well-established construction company specialising in Insurance Repair, Restoration and Strata works. With longstanding partnerships with Australia’s major insurance providers and loss assessors, they are recognised for delivering quality and reliable building services. Due to continued growth and strong demand, they are seeking an experienced Estimator/Supervisor to join their successful team in Perth.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within a high-performing team. As an Estimator/Supervisor, you will attend damaged sites, assess and estimate repair costs, coordinate trades, and oversee works to ensure high-quality outcomes for insured property restorations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting site inspections and preparing building insurance assessment reports
• Estimating repair costs and preparing detailed scopes of work
• Supervising the reinstatement of damaged buildings
• Engaging, coordinating, and managing trades throughout the restoration process
• Liaising with insurance companies, loss assessors, and insured parties
• Ensuring access to properties is coordinated with all stakeholders
• Managing dispute resolution as required
• Ensuring all work meets OH&S legislation and contractual obligations
• Overseeing inspections and ensuring all compliance documentation is signed off

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
• Previous experience in insurance building (highly regarded)
• Trade qualification in building (carpentry preferred) or related discipline
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Competence in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Good computer literacy
• Sound knowledge of OH&S practices, legislation, and regulations
• Familiarity with current market rates and trades
• Ability to produce accurate estimates independently
• A current and valid driver’s license
