Research Assistant (24-month Contract)

Salary: HK$ 20,000.00 per month
Working hours: 45 hours per week (excluding meal break of one hour per day) Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays) 0800 — 1800 or 0830 — 1830 (including meal break of one hour not counting as service hours)

Job Duties:

1. To provide statistical support to the implementation of the Partnership Programme for Community Engagement (the Programme), including compiling, validating and reconciling submissions from Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), and supporting the allocation and distribution of related goods;
2. To assist in quality assurance of the Programme, including maintaining and validating registries and databases, monitoring trends and detecting potential operational issues, and participating in quality check visits;
3. To participate in evaluation of the Programme, including conducting statistical analysis, preparing structured data reports, developing and maintaining dashboards;
4. To provide statistical support relating to triple elimination initiatives, covering data input, data extraction, validation, clarification and compilation of presentations and reports; and
5. To perform ad hoc projects and assignments as required by DH representative(s).

Requirements:

• Graduated with a Bachelor Degree or above in Public Health, Statistics, Data Science or related subjects;
• Be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access;
• At least two-year work experience in handling large-scaled data and analysing complex data would be an advantage; and
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
