This position offers a unique opportunity to work within the Product Pricing Leadership Team, contributing directly to high-impact pricing projects and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a nearly or newly qualified Actuary with 5-7 years of experience, ready to apply their technical expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Job Duties:

1. Support the end-to-end delivery of pricing projects across various product lines, including product development, pricing, in-force repricing, system implementation, and process enhancement.
2. Assist in managing project timelines and provide regular, clear progress updates to the Product Pricing Leadership Team.
3. Conduct in-depth product pricing analysis and contribute to financial optimization initiatives by applying levers identified in Pricing R&D and Product Pricing Strategy.
4. Help develop robust risk mitigation recommendations and ensure all key risks are identified, analyzed, and addressed.
5. Support system implementation activities, which includes preparing system change requirements and performing necessary UAT checks.
6. Coordinate effectively with product approval functions, ensuring their requirements and feedback are addressed in a timely manner.
7. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, ensuring full compliance with internal standards and regulatory guidelines.
8. Contribute to Pricing R&D initiatives and assist in the development and maintenance of long-term product pricing strategies.
9. Review and provide professional recommendations on special quotation requests as delegated.

Requirements:

• Nearly qualified or newly qualified Actuary (FSA, FIA, or equivalent) with approximately 5–7 years of experience in a life insurer, reinsurer, or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of key actuarial concepts including assumption setting, cash flow modelling, ALM, investment, capital management, medical business, and valuation.
• Demonstrated understanding of financial and risk considerations for various product features, with the ability to perform detailed analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to prepare clear, concise pricing reports and communicate effectively with technical stakeholders.
• Solid project coordination skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
