                    Position:                     Project Support Executive
 Client:                        LCSD - Hong Kong Public Libraries

 Contract period:         9 months (24 Sep 2025 - 23 Jun 2025)
 Working Location:     Fa Yuen Municipal Services Building and/or other branch libraries and/or venues of Hong Kong Public Libraries
 Working hours:          From 08:45 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 18:00 each day from Monday to Friday (Saturday, Sundays and Public Holidays OFF when no programme runs)
  
 Job Duties of the Project Support Executive:
  
 
 - Digital & Web Administration
 - Manage and update web content for reading promotion programs.
- Plan and coordinate live streaming, analyze website data, and resolve technical issues.
- Event Coordination
 - Organize event logistics, liaise with vendors, and handle inquiries.
- Assist with venue layout, materials preparation, and on-site inspections.
- Publication & Promotion
 - Design and produce promotional materials (e.g., posters, leaflets).
- Draft, proofread, and translate content for exhibitions and social media.
- Administrative Support
 - Oversee office administration, inventory, and records management.
- Supervise support staff and prepare reports on reading trends.
Qualifications Requirements: (a) A recognised bachelor's degree or above from Hong Kong or overseas institutions.
 (b) Language proficiency equivalent to: Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English
 Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or the
 Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Note).
 (c) Excellent written Chinese and English; fluent spoken Cantonese and English; proficiency in
 Putonghua is advantageous.
 (d) Minimum three years of continuous full-time work experience (prior to interview date),
 preferably in either project management for reading/cultural activities, or in similar roles
 with administrative support duties.
 (g) Technical skills for uploading publicity materials to WCMS, and managing website
 activities and analytics.
 (h) Strong attention to detail with proven ability to monitor strict project timelines.
 (i) Computer proficiency must include: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Chinese input
 methods (倉頡/速成); Knowledge of online graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe
 Illustrator) will be an advantage.
 (j) Experience in designing and proofreading high-volume promotional materials.  
 Note: For this appointment exercise, Grade C and Grade E in Chinese Language and English
 Language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to
 Level 3 and Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE
 and henceforth.
