Work in performance venue in Tuen Mun & Yuen Long
Position: Building Management Officer
Main work location: Tuen Mun Town Hall & Yuen Long Theatre
Contract period: about 8 months start from Aug 2025
Working hours: 45 hours per week, normally during 0900 to 2330 hours
The normal shift patterns are : 0900-1800 / 0930-1830 hours
1400-2300 / 1430-2330 hours.
Working in irregular hours on weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays may be required.
Job Responsibility :
(i) to assistant the Manager in the planning, implementation and supervision of various renovation / improvement projects related to the building management of the venues;
(ii) to supervise and monitor the daily maintenance of the facilities;
(iii) to act as coordinator among venue stakeholders and operational units for the provision of services to hirers and general public;
(iv) to assist the Manager to monitor and liaise with other Government Departments for venue day by day building management matters;
(v) to perform contract management for security and cleansing services;
(vi) to enforce house rules and regulations as well as handle enquiries, requests and complaints on site while acting as Duty Manager;
(vii) to assist in the compilation of relvant statistical data; and
(viii) any other duties as assigned by the Government Representative(s).
Qualifications Requirements:
(a) A permanent resident of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and be lawfully employable in Hong Kong; and
(b) be a degree holder; with at least diploma level in building/property/facility management or equivalent; and
(c) good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
(d) MUST have at 3 years' full-time working experience, of which 1 years solid full-time working experience in building management/property/facility management (with past working experience in Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) performing arts venues is an advantage); and
(e) possess a valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card).
