Position: Part-time Field & Data Assistant (Government Project / Outdoor Work)

We are seeking four meticulous and proactive individuals for a long-term, part-time contract role supporting a government project. This position combines outdoor fieldwork in the Yuen Long district with office-based data management. It is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working independently in a dynamic environment. Full training and transportation reimbursement are provided.
Contract period: 3-month renewable contract basis until 30 Nov 2026.
Working Location: Yuen Long District and/or assigned government offices.
Salary: HK$80.00 per hour (Minimum 4 hours per working day).
Working hours: Flexible rostering between 9:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday.

Job Duties:

• Conduct outdoor fieldwork which involves basic numeric calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), primary-level area measurement, and compass/map reading.
• Accurately input collected field data into designated Excel spreadsheets.
• Undertake additional office duties at government offices as assigned.
• Note: On-the-job training and on-site practice will be provided for all fieldwork tasks.

Requirements:

• Must be lawfully employable in Hong Kong.
• Able and willing to perform outdoor duties in various weather conditions.
• Possess basic numeric calculation skills, primary-level area calculation ability, and fundamental compass/map reading skills.
• Familiar with MS Excel for data entry tasks.
• Good command of written Chinese; basic English communication skills are preferred.
• A responsible and attentive individual capable of working independently after training.
