Position: Counter Services Staff
Contract period: 1 Sep 2025 to 31 May 2026
Working Location: DOH Health Centre in Chai Wan/ Sha Tin/ Sheung Shui/Yuen Long
Working hours: 44 hours per week, 5 days in a week, from Monday to Friday. between 08:45-18:00 (including one hour meal break)
Job Duties:
- To assist in counter duties, including receiving and registering cases, arranging appointments and referral, answering telephone enquiries, calling clients for appointment, etc.;
- To assist in enrolment of student health services for clients;
- To respond to clients’ inquiries and complaints;
- To provide general office support to SHSCs and SACss;
- To assist in finance and accounts management;
- To assist in records management, such as updating, filing, archiving and retrieving clients’ records etc., and
- Any other duties as assigned by senior officers.
Requirements:
(a)
(i) Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese Language and English Language in the HKDSEE, or equivalent; OR
(ii) Level 2 or above in five subjects including Chinese Language and English Language in the HKCEE, or equivalent; OR
(iii) Qualifications with relevant work experience recognized by the Government Representative;
(b) Preferable with at least one year full time working experience in provision of counter/customer services;
(c) Have good knowledge in the application of common business software (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, etc.);
(d) English typing 35 words per minute and Chinese typing 25 words per minute (“倉頡” or “速成” input method);
(e) Be able to speak English and fluent Cantonese; preferably be able to speak Putonghua;
(f) Self-motivated, responsible, punctual and be able to work independently; and
(g) Have good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the internal and external clients (e.g. polite telephone manner).
