Clerical job in Kowloon Bay
Position: Temporary Clerical Staff
Client: DOH – Dental Services (New Territories Region)
Contract period: late Jun 2025 to mid Dec 2025
Working Location: Kowloon Bay
Salary: HK$16K per month
Working hours: 44 hours per week, five (5) days in a week,
Mondays: 08:45-13:00 and 14:00-17:45
Tuesdays to Fridays: 08:45-13:00 and 14:00-17:30
Job Duties:
(a) to provide reception and customer service, including but not limited to receiving and registering appointments, scheduling/ re-scheduling dental appointments, arranging referrals for patients and answering public enquires by phone or email, etc.;
(b) to provide office support in the clinics/ office/ laboratory, including searching and filing treatment cards, receiving and stock-taking clinical materials, treatment records and documents;
(c) to provide general clerical and computer support, including filing and photocopying documents, using computers and the computer systems of Dental Services to compile statistical returns, input data, prepare letters, etc.; and
(d) to perform relieving clerk and any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
(a) have Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (“HKDSEE”), or equivalent; or have Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects including Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (“HKCEE”), or equivalent; and the qualifications shall be recognized by the Government Representative;
(b) preferably have at least one year of full-time clerical working experience and/ or customer services working experience;
(c) have good knowledge in the application of common business software (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.);
(d) have English typing speed of 35 words per minute and Chinese typing speed of 25 words per minute;
(e) be able to speak English and fluent Cantonese; preferably be able to speak Putonghua;
(f) be self-motivated; and
(g) have good communication and interpersonal skills.
