Position: Programme Coordination Officer
Client: LCSD - Programmes Management Supporting Services on an Output Basis to the East Kowloon Cultural Centre

Contract period: 1 May 2025 to 30 April 2026
Working Location: 3/F, East Kowloon Cultural Centre, 60 Ngau Tau Kok Road, Kowloon
Salary: HK$1,350.00 per working day
Working hours: 9:30 am to 6:30pm, 9 hours per working day from Monday to Friday (I-hour meal break included).

Job Duties:
The Service-provider is required to provide suitable candidate(s) to deliver the following Services to the East Kowloon Cultural Centre (EKCC) of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government:
(1) To assist the Manager in providing administrative and logistical support for programme proposal meetings and Art Form Sub-committee meetings, which includes organising meeting schedules, preparing agendas, meeting paper and minutes, and ensuring that all materials are ready for discussion;
(ii) To assist the Manager in website management and enhancement, which includes updating website content, monitoring operational performance, prepare operation manual and liaising with service providers to ensure the smooth operation of systems;
(iii) To engage in research on the local and overseas professional performing arts scene, including but not limited to performances with application of advanced technology, to support the office's programme planning for reaching out the audience; assist the Manager in liaising and negotiating with these artists / agents on terms of engagement; and keep track of concurrent trend and activities of different art forms;
(iv) To assist the Manager in providing logistic support including drafting promotion plans and contracts, formulating booking schedules and making necessary reservations and the liaison works for thematic and partnership programmes; and arrange the necessary technical / stage services by liaising with backstage office and potential service providers to facilitate the smooth operation of these programmes / events presented / sponsored by the office;
(v) To assist the Manager in carrying out revenue contract management duties to monitor effective delivery of services contracts such as catering outlets;
(vi) To assist the Manager to prepare various returns and statistics of the office, different tasks for the grand opening of the EKCC as well as the on-going operations of the venue; and
(vii) To perform any other duties assigned by senior officers.
Requirements:
The personnel(s) to be provided by the. Service-provider to deliver the services stipulated in the Job Responsibilities must
(i) be a permanent resident of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and be lawfully employable in Hong Kong,
(ii) be a holder of Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Cultural Studies/ Communications/ Advertising/ Public Relations/ Social Science or related fields or equivalent;
(iii) have good command of written and spoken Chinese and English (have met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 5' or above in Chinese Language and English Language of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE); or Grade CC, or above in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature and Use of English of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE); or 'Level 2' in Use of English and Use of Chinese of the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) or equivalent);
(iv) have at least three (3) years' full-time post-qualification working experience in the field of event management/ event operations prior to Quotation Closing Date. Working experience in government offices is preferable; and
(v) be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing.

The personnel(s) to be provided by the Service-provider to deliver the services stipulated in the
Job Responsibilities will have an advantage if the following requirements are met:
(i) mature, helpful, pleasant, independent with good interpersonal and communication skills;
(ii) responsible and be able to attend to details and data;
(iii) able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules; and
(iv) with working experience in Leisure and Cultural Services Department preferred.
