Position: Hiring and Operation Officer (Contract)
Employer: AR Solution Limited
Contract Period: 12 months
Work Location: Kowloon
Working hour: 9 hours per working day (1-hour meal break included) between 0900 - 2400
Salary: HK$1,296.00 per day
Job Duties
- To supervise and monitor matters relating to the hiring of facilities but not limited to-
- vetting and overseeing booking applications;
- preparing booking documents;
- maintaining booking records and compiling various booking statistics and returns;
- processing rental refund and related matters;
- answering enquiries relating to booking matters; and
- arranging site visits to promote the facilities.
- To serve as subject officer to liaise with hirers on event arrangements and requirements. To coordinate with technical sections and Front of House to provide the required facilities and services for each booking, at the same time ensure compliance with house rules and statutory obligations;
- To keep track of the changes of events, process the related paperwork and issue operational instructions to all relevant teams;
- To serve as Duty Manager / In-charge to ensure the smooth running of venue operations and to handle public enquiries, complaints and emergencies;
- To check the accuracy of the electronic content of publicity materials from hirers displayed with the digital display panels installed at the venue: and
- To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.
Qualifications:
- Be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and lawfully employable in Hong Kong;
- Have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent (major in Arts / Cultural Studies / Communications is an advantage);
- Have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 [Note 1] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
- Have at least two (2) years of full-time post-qualification work experience in the field of venue management in the arts performance and entertainment business or at cultural organisations (work experience in the field of hiring and booking management or at LCSD performing arts venues is an advantage);
- Be proficient in MS Office applications; and
- Have good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
