Position:                         Exhibition Ambassador
Client:                    LCSD - Hong Kong Museum of History
Employer:              GBA HR Ltd.
Contract period:   16 April to 7 July 2025 (except Tuesdays) Total 73 Days
Working Location: 100 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong and any other places designated by the Museum.
Salary:                    HK$ 82.50 per working hour
Working hours:    Service Time (including 1-hour paid meal break
(a) 2 persons x (8.75 hours = 770 hours) 9:30 a.m. — 6:15 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays to Fridays
(b) 3 persons x (9.75 hours = 848.25 hours) 9:30 a.m. — 7:15 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays on 18 & 21 April, 1 & 5 May, 1 July 2025

Responsibilities / Job Duties:

1. To distribute promotional leaflets/booklets and souvenirs to visitors relating to the exhibition and to assist in monitoring the stock of souvenirs; to guide and assist visitors to participate in exhibition-related activities, and to provide photo taking service when necessary;
2. to provide venue setting and logistics support for exhibition-related activities, such as moving necessary equipment in the museum and outdoor areas;
3. to provide assistance in checking tickets for designated exhibition-related activities;
4. to execute house rules of the Museum when necessary;
5. to monitor the conditions and stock of souvenirs, promotional leaflets/booklets, and the conditions of exhibition-related facilities, props and installations and to report to the Museum Management if there is any damage;
6. to provide customer service to visitors of Museum and answer enquiries relating to the exhibition including use of Museum Passes when necessary;
7. to assist in crowd control; and
8. to perform other duties as required.

 
Qualification / Requirements:

1. Exhibition Ambassadors The servicer(s) as Exhibition Ambassador(s) shall:-
2. be permanent residents4 the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
3. have completed Form 6 or above;
4. preferably have relevant working experience in exhibitions, trade fairs, educational activities and cultural events for the provision of the service;
5. be physically capable of providing customer service in mainly indoor area of the Museum and in outdoor area which might be required from time to time;
6. be proficient in Cantonese and able to speak Putonghua and English to represent the Museum in meeting visitors; be polite and presentable to visitors, and be proactive in providing service to visitors.

 
Dress Code: All servicers may be required to wear uniform if such provision is available. In any case that such provision is not available, all servicers shall wear the dress code as designated and required by the Museum. The overall dress code of all servicers shall be tidy and smart casual at all times during service hours.
