Job Duties:
The temporary staff will engage in the investment promotion works and related duties of the Creative Industries, Sports and Entertainment sectors, including but not limited to:
(i) To provide one-stop business facilitation services and tailor-made support to enterprises setting up/ expanding their operations in Hong Kong with a focus on either Art, Culture & Design or Entertainment & Sports, or other creative industries related sectors;
(ii) To actively research and identify potential overseas investors from desktop research, software databases, media monitoring and attendance at networking and industry events, and to follow up and establish contact with these leads;
(iii)To work with InvestHK's overseas network, relevant government bureaux and departments, industry stakeholders and other industry associations to coordinate investment promotion and marketing activities to attract and retain companies in the creative industries;
(iv)To coordinate and further expand the business matching, networking and other marketing efforts in the team;
(v) To prepare sales messages, presentations, marketing materials and support on project co-ordination, logistic arrangements, marketing and event management;
(vi) To assist in receiving delegations/ senior executives and implementing visit programmes for Mainland/ overseas visitors;
(vii) To attend relevant trade fairs and other related sector events or activities, flexibility to work irregular hours; and
(viii) To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.
Requirements:
(i) Five years' of relevant full-time work experience in account management, business development, trade promotion, marketing, PR and/or project management in either Art, Culture & Design or Entertainment & Sports or relevant fields related to the creative industries;
(ii) Good business network in the Art & Culture or creative industries or Entertainment & Sports sectors; exposure to Mainland and international operations and business environment would be an advantage;
(iii) Knowledge of the related ecosystem and business climate in Hong Kong and Asia as well as expertise in project management, investment/ trade promotion, event management, marketing communications;
(iv) A Bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent, preferably in business, marketing or PR or management-related subjects; a higher degree and/ or professional qualifications in related discipline would be an advantage;
(v) Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving skills; and
(vi) Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is a must. Proficiency in other languages would be an advantage.

(a) Level 5 or above in Chinese Language of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) is accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the Use of Chinese (UC) paper of the CRE. Level 5 or above in English Language of the HKDSEE is accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the Use of English (UE) paper of the CRE.
(b) Grade C or above in Use of English of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) or in English Language of the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level) is accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the UE paper of the CRE. Grade C or above in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature of the HKALE is accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the UC paper of the CRE.
(c) An overall band of 6.5 or above with no subtest score below band 6 obtained in the same sitting in the Academic Module of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) within the two-year validity period of the test is accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the UE paper of the CRE. The IELTS test result must be valid on any date during the application period.
