Are you passionate about data, problem-solving and helping businesses make smarter decisions? ICT360 is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Kingsland, Auckland.
 
This is a great opportunity to work with data from multiple sources, uncover trends and patterns, and turn complex information into practical insights that support business growth and performance.
You'll work alongside stakeholders and IT teams, contributing to data strategy, reporting and database optimisation while continuing to develop your technical skills.
 
What you'll be doing

• Collect, analyse and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop data models, databases, reports and visualisations.
• Use SQL to support database operations and improve performance.
• Maintain data accuracy through quality checks and validation.
• Work with stakeholders to answer business questions and provide useful recommendations.
• Document processes and stay up to date with new technologies and industry best practices.

What we're looking for

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with SQL and database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Excel.
• An understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain technical information clearly.

Experience working with large datasets, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, and database performance optimisation would be an advantage.
