We are looking for a reliable and flexible Class 4 Driver / Labourer to join our client’s Cambridge team in a varied, hands-on role.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road but is also happy to get stuck in and help out with physical, labour-intensive work.
This is a combined driving and labouring position, with your time split between Class 4 driving duties and general labouring/factory work.
You can expect to:
Drive a Class 4 vehicle as required
Carry out hand loading and unloading of goods
Assist with general labouring and factory duties
Occasionally help catch & load poultry
Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly
Adapt to changing tasks and priorities throughout the day
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
This is a physical role, so you will need to be comfortable with regular lifting, loading and unloading, and being on your feet. Hours - Monday to Friday. Early morning starts through until early afternoon.
We are looking for someone who is:
A confident and competent Class 4 driver
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
Happy to pitch in and help wherever needed
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Ideally experienced in both driving and labouring environments
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
Hold a current Class 4 driver's licence
Provide relevant and recent work references
Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test
Successfully complete a security check
Be physically capable of carrying out the requirements of the role
