We are seeking two experienced Electrical Fitters for a Hamilton-based manufacturer of industrial and commercial switchboards.

This role involves the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical switchboards and panels to a high standard within a busy manufacturing environment. Applicants must have previous experience building and wiring of switchgear units and be confident working from schematics.

The Role:

• Building and assembling switchboards and electrical panels
• Copper busbar fabrication and installation
• Wiring and fitting electrical components
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings
• Testing completed switchboards to ensure safety and compliance
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving to meet build deadlines

Requirements:

• Previous experience in switchboard building, control wiring, or electrical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret schematics confidently
• Good practical and hands-on engineering skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Electrical Fitter experience highly regarded
