Are you a dynamic sales professional looking to make an impact in the renewable energy sector? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the commercial success of a new Solar & Storage event launching in Vienna, Austria, in May 2026.
What You’ll Do:
✔ Sell high-value exhibition space and sponsorship packages to global clients
✔ Identify and engage new business prospects through research and outreach
✔ Develop consultative relationships using SPIN-based selling techniques
✔ Create tailored proposals and close high-value deals
✔ Build strong connections within the solar and energy storage sectors
✔ Work closely with the Commercial Director to develop new opportunities
✔ Collaborate with conference and marketing teams to maximise client engagement
✔ Travel internationally to attend events and meet clients
✔ Represent the brand professionally, including via LinkedIn and social media
What We’re Looking For:
Fluent in German at a business level
Strong consultative selling skills, excellent at negosiation and ability to close deals
Interest in renewable energy, solar, or battery storage industries
Proven B2B sales experience in events, exhibitions, or sponsorships
Proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for business development
