This is an exciting opportunity to join our team where you'll be involved in a variety of small, medium, and major projects throughout NZ, providing electrical installation services to the energy industry. You will play a key role in the installation of a wide range of equipment associated with fuel site builds and upgrades, EV charging networks, site automation and environmental monitoring systems.
You will have commercial or industrial electrical experience with a good understanding of electrical practices and standards preferably in hazardous areas, be mechanically minded and not afraid of a challenge. You will pride yourself on your high-quality workmanship.
You will need to have a strong focus on HSE and a good understanding of your obligations on site. We have an ‘everyone goes home safe’ philosophy and are seeking applications from like-minded individuals.
To succeed in this role you should also:
- Be a New Zealand Registered Electrician with a current practising license
- Hold a Full Class 1 Drivers License
- Possess the ability to interpret plans, drawings and specifications for installations, building and underground services
- Have experience in leading small teams, including upskilling of co-workers as required
- Possess the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels of the business
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and data capture
